Good day sir,
How can I be commissioned in the Reserve force sir? or if I can only be enlisted, what rank?
I'm a PMA cadet, member of class 2009, with status of indefinite leave of absence. I was able to finish the summer camp training and ftx, and I was incorporated in the cadet corps.
Right now I'm working as a manager of Ayala Life, and an undergraduate student of University of the Philippines.

Thank you sir.

Do reservist entitled for discounts in enrolling their children in public or private school. If yes, where can i find this information, what particular web, net, etc.?? I heard that even Barangay Captain enjoyed discounts??

Please confirm with many thanks,

Kagitingan

Anonymous said...

Reservist's children are not entitled to any tuition fee discounts.

Barangay Officials and their dependents are given scholarships (public schools and state universities only) by virtue of Sec. 393 of the Local Government Code of 1991.

What are your rules of discipline for reserve officers (this person claims to be a captain) who bullies others and constantly remind everyone of their position and use this information to influence barangay officials in their place of residence when complained of?

Anonymous said...

Reserve officers and enlisted men follow the same military courtesy and discipline of the regular Armed Forces. You can report eering reserve officers and enlisted personnel directly to their commanders.

SIR,
GOOD PM, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE UNIT PA 4TSBn AFPRESCOM, is this a ready reserve or standby reserve. Is there a regular meeting of this unit. I know an NGO (INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY ACTION GROUP), founder is Cpt Christy Hernandez PA (RES) , most of the members of this non government organization belong to 4TSBn AFPRESCOM. What is the basis of giving them rank and serial number. Most of the members of this INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY ACTION GROUP have rank of MASTER SARGEANT ANG TECHNICAL SARGEANT. Most of them have no training suitable for their rank. One of the member of this NGO, told me.
Hope for your immediate response regarding this matter Sir.
Just email me to erick_sanmiguel@yahoo.com

Anonymous said...

The NGO is not part of the 4th Tech Svc Bn, nagkataon lamang na officer ng Unit ang founder ng NGO.

With regards to the rank, pag graduate ng basic ROTC, BCMT or any authorized military training, you are already a reservist and given AFP Serial Numbers and Rank.

It is not the NGO who assigns the rank.

For further inquiries, please visit the 4th Tech Svc Bn or the Tech Svc Bde at AFPRESCOM, Camp Aguinaldo, QC.

Sir:

What years a reservist should serve in his term as a citizen-soldier?

Anonymous said...

Retirement age for reserve officers and enlisted personnel is 65 years old.

CAD as filler is 2 years.

Anonymous said...

Since you are a graduate of PMMA (and finished basic ROTC), you are already a standby reserve enlisted navy personnel. Just get your enlistment order from NROTC Unit of PMMA if you do not have one. If you want to transfer to a ready reserve unit, go to navrescom hq and have your papers processed.

Dear Sir/Madam:

I finished my basic ROTC at the University of Santo Tomas in the year 1993 and my bachelor's degree in another school in the year 1996.

For years now, I wanted to know my reserve rank, serial number and unit assignment, but unfortunately, UST doesn't have the roster of ROTC graduates for the year 1993.

I went to Camp Aguinaldo to inquire the same but according to them, the DMST (UST) is in the best position to provide the details.

I really find it odd that for one who finished his/her basic ROTC a long time ago is not even a registered reservist!

Perhaps the AFPResCom could initiate a nationwide campaign in the re-enlistment of reservist at the municipal level in order to ascertain its strength and capability in the undertaking and deployment of personnel to areas requiring national assistance.

Thank you and I do hope to hear from your Office.

aa_venezuela@yahoo.com

Anonymous said...

Hello,

You may bring your transcript of records to UST-ROTC DMST that shows that you have finished your basic ROTC, then request them for your serial number. They are in the position to process your serial number in case you were not given one.

thanks! will do that!

Sir,
I am an EP reservist under 9th IDRR who applied for commissionhip in 2004 but unluckily my acquired degrees were not considered for the technical service. Is it because I am only a licensed teacher with master's degree?
I am totally disappointed to what happened AFP. This is a clear discrimination of College Degree. In addendum, I am not even considered to the EP rank of Msg.
Hope that this will not happen again to others... who want to serve voluntarily in our country.

Dear Jones,

Since you are a graduate of Basic ROTC, you are already a reservist. Just visit your former ROTC unit to get your serial number and rank.

Dear Pvt Ojeda,

Thank you very much for responding into my comment. I am Pvt Ojeda PAR, who failed in the application for commisionship sometime in 2004 w/c is in reference with Circular Nr 30, series of 1987 for Engineers, Architects, Accountants and other Professions with PRC License. I just want to ask; why I wasn't considered to become officer? Is there any restriction for this AFP Circular?

Am I qualified for Commissioned Officer even without BCMT or ROTC? Does my master's degree count for a Commissioned Officer?

I applied for G2 clearance for my commisionship and I was denied. My friend told me that the reason why I am denied is due to my marital status. I am separated for 14 years. If that is the case I should be given due process. I am not the one who committed adultery. Well in fact I have though in La Salle. They are very particular when it comes to the morality of their teachers. Why did I passed ,simply I was given due process.

I was also responsible for the re-Offering of the ARMY ROTCU in our university. I am teaching NSTP-CTWS and currently the ROTC coordinator.

Just for enlightenment do you know the criteria on how to pass the G2 clearance. thank you

Good day! I am from Isabela, aspiring to be a Navy Reservist. However, I have 6 semesters accumulated study in college (BS in Information Technology) still undergrad as of this writing. Currently I am 32 y/o single with no child to support. If I pursue my 4-year course and be able to graduate 3 years later (in this case I have incomplete subjects to retake; or take entirely different college course), can I still apply as a Reservist? Would there be, or what would be the significance/relevance of the college course I took to the duties I'll have as Navy Reservist (in case of becoming enlisted.) Should I just fulfill the requirements and sumbit my application? Or, as a college undergraduate, and in my mid 30s by then, should I take vocational courses instead?

Is it too late for me to be one?
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. Warm Regards.
